whistles merrily
and signals that
it is time for tea.
The fine china cups
are filled with the brew.
There’s lemon and sugar
and sweet cream, too.

But, best of all
there’s friendship, between you and me.
there’s friendship, between you and me.
As we lovingly share
our afternoon tea.

A recurring theme in of this tea blog seems to be
establish friendship and the act of sharing tea art. What is it about this drink that
brings people together? Then we settle down with our cups and share our worries and
anecdotes. It just wouldn’t be the same without the mug warming our
hands. This
all seems very Chinese but I am sure this tea camaraderie exists in
other cultures too.
