Dear friends,
I am not sure whether you NOTICED THAT that there are three type of tea drinkers, as follows:-
a) Mono tea drinkers who drink only one type of tea through out the year, that is day in and day out, 365 days of the year. You may find these mono tea drinkers all over the world. I was told that in certain parts of southern Fujian, they only drink the locally produced tea, Anxi’s Tieguanyin. They simply refuse to drink other types of tea – even if it’s a really good tea. Some people are mono tea drinkers due to their preferred type of tea; and always drink it. It becomes part of them permanently and they refuse to adopt any changes. Some may describe these group as the frog living in the well who knows nothing of the vastness beyond the well.
b) Not a tea drinker at all. The other extremists are people who don't drink tea at all. They are actually none tea drinkers. To be a none tea drinker, you must be live a wretched life – knowing of the comforts and pleasures of Tea.
c) the last group of people, called multi tea drinkers. They will drink any kind of tea – red, black, white, yellow, green, compressed, moldy - whatever being served. They are more open to adventure and try new teas and constantly seek for new experiences, in every aspect. We know that there are many varieties of tea. Each tea has different look, taste and smell. Some teas have relatively big leaves; whereas some teas have relatively small, tender leaves. To me, it’s worth trying out different kinds of teas to learn what they are, and understand the differences and similarities amongst them.
I recalled when I was a none tea drinker and later on being transformed to be a multi tea drinker. So, I have gone through these categories and have good experience at each level. Through tea, I have learn a lots of valuable principles in life, which you may read about in my previous articles. You may wish to read again BY CLICKING at THE TITLE OF THIS ARTICLE.
I am blessed to be born in a country, blessed with all sorts of tea; namely Western, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and our local tea such as Boh tea, Pulled tea, Tongkat Ali Tea. Some of you may have read about my previous articles on our local tea. Here, I write to challenge you to drink each type of tea and share with us your experience. Hope you enjoy your discovery.
For those who are none tea drinkers, please do let us know as why you refuse to drink it. You are always more than welcome to do so in the comment column, provided below.
Thank you in advance and wish you enjoy your discovery journey.
